I have a question about this RPG. When you first join, do you have to start out as a kit or can you start as a warrior?

How do you join a clan?
-
When Ravenpelt woke up, she stretched and walked out the den. She stopped and quickly groomed her fur. Looking around at everyone, Ravenpelt wondered what was in store for today.
-
Ravenpelt lay outside the warrior den. She felt lonely. She didn't really have any friends. Ravenpelt kind of keeps to her self. 'Am I really hated by everyone?' she wondered. 'Will I never get a mate?' A mate? She has always wanted a mate. 'No, I will never have a mate or have kits,' Ravenpelt thought. 'No one is interested in a quiet she-cat like me.' She started grooming her black fur. 'If only anyone ever talked to me,' Ravenpelt thought.
-
Ravenpelt felt as if there was no one in her clan that she could trust anymore. Or was the other way around? Does every cat not trust her? Did she belong their? Was she even wanted? Ravenpelt lay awake, one night, thinking about all of this. Then she came up with a plan. 'I will wait a few days to see if I truly am wanted. And if it is clear that I don't belong, I will leave my clan forever,' Ravenpelt thought. With thought in mind, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
-
"Hello, everyone how are you?" Ravenpelt asked the three other cats.
-
Yes, you can join.
Ravenpelt woke up when she felt another cat's fur brushing against her own. She looked over and saw it was Heronwing. She had always enjoyed being around him. 'If I do leave my clan, I will miss him the most,' she thought. She curled up and fell back asleep.
-
"Good morning, Whispervoice," Ravenpelt said to the tom. "How are you?"
-
"Sounds great! Let's go!" Ravenpelt said.
-
"Great!" Ravenpelt replied. She took a bite of rabbit "What about you?" she asked Hailshine.
-
"I hope so," Ravenpelt said in between bites. "And thanks for the rabbit."
-
"Don't say that, you're a great hunter," Ravenpelt said. "Didn't you catch a rabbit the other day?" She didn't like to see her clanmates say bad things about themselves.
-
"That's true. You're a really smart cat, Hailshine," Ravenpelt meowed.
-
Heronwing's grunt woke up Ravenpelt. She looked over at him. "Heronwing, are you ok?" the she-cat asked.
-
"I guess so. Every time I've been out hunting, I caught something," Ravenpelt replied.
-
"Thanks," Ravenpelt said, licking blood off here mouth. She looked around and wondered when the patrolls would be announced.
-
Ravenpelt looked over at Hailshine." Cool, we're on dawn patrol together," she said. "Let's go find Wolfeyes and Mosspath!"
-
"I'm ready!" Ravenpelt said. Her whole body tingled with excitement.
-
"Ok," Ravenpelt said. She got up and stretched. "Are you sure you're alright?" she asked.
